not true. air pump air is SUPPOSED to go thru the ACV into the center iron down to the exhaust ports.

I have threads from last race season showing my '89 GTU- S NASCAR Mini Stock. This is only my second season running an RX7 and I'm down on power but I hope, after this Friday it will be a little better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOuC9ZmNEtg Here is a video of a race from last season. The yellow car is a '96 Integtra with a fully built 1.8 vtec running a stand alone system. He breaks about halfway through and the rest of the race is me in the red and silver rx7 and the class champion in a '89 Nissan 240sx that is built by Rebello's Racing in Cali. I'm running a '87 13b, everything stock with only exhuast mods.

Not too many mods. I have a uncollected Racing Beat header with about 50" long header pipes, gutted the throttle body and intake, 5th and 6th port sleeves removed, pre-mixing fuel @ 1ounce per gallon, and that is about it...

I'm either having a problem with my RTEK box, or I need to step up to some 550cc injectors. Right about 6500rpm it's running out of fuel and I made 7 pulls and there was 0 changes to the A/F and power #s. I'm running the stock fuel pump and the 460/460 injector setup but was under the impression that the stock injectors should supply more than enough fuel on stock ports. I do have 2 of the 550cc injectors I could through in the secondaries but I'm lost right now. Not sure how to verify that the map corrections are actually being applied?

Links to last weekends races. The car is now black and silver, still #64. One is the 8 lap heat race, the other is the 25 lap main event.
