air/fuel, 680cc's and S-AFC

I was planning on adding an intake and TID to my 87TII real soon (read as soon as the filter comes in), but I was worried about the boost going too high. I ported my wastegate and I'm seeing a pretty steady 8psi with 3" Turbo-back exhaust and FCD. I know the TID is gonna push me pretty close to the fuel system's limits (that's why I already ported the wastegate while I waited for the filter), but I was wondering if I'm gonna need any injectors. I want to get an A/F gage, but I wasn't sure how well it would work with my $18 universal O2 sensor and I don't want to spend $1000 on injectors, fuel pump, O2 sensor, SAFC and a gage.
Could I just upgrade the injectors to 680cc without running overly rich? Also, I was debating the DIY Boost Controller, so if it seems rich, I could up the boost. I figure that would lean it a little, but I still need the gage to see where I'm at when I'm not under full boost. So, with the mods I have and am going to have, should I worry about the pump, injectors, and all, or not?
