Question air flow problem

hi guys i have a problem.i have a 1986 rx7.every thing is stock right now until i can get this last problem fixed.every time i get to around 4000 rpm the car starts to cut back as if it is not getting enough air .but below that it runs fine.has anybody else had this problem,or know what could be causing it. thanks for the help.

wow what are all these louisiana people doing on today, must be something in the water where are you from? I'm in Lake Charles. Anyways like the guy above me said search for 3800 rpm hesitation. Usually the causes are faulty grounds (dirty/disconnected), water thermo sensor plug is not plugged in, dirty injectors, and if you have an n/a it may be your secondary ports are stuck. GOod luck
