Question Air Filters

Can you connect a pod filter without using the maf sensor on a stock ECU?
I Have a stock S5T and want to eliminate the stock box but behind that on the existing piping there's all different types of hoses,
Does the new piping with the pod allow for these connections or is it easier to just attach the pod to the existing piping with the maf sensor?
Any suggestions or advice would be a great help thanks.

You can't remove the AFM if you're using the stock ECU. The hoses connected to the stock TID (turbo inlet duct) and air box would be for the PCV system, bypass valve (BOV) and air pump. It will probably be up to you to make new hookups for these, unless you can find some pre-made kit.
