mine came off easy, at first it was hard but I didnt now there are settings on some air guns. It was kinda hard getting it off on lvl 1. But level 5 zzwwwinngg right off. Didnt even have to secure the flywheel.

I had to make the first cut with the torch, and cut through the whole hub assembly just in front of the front cover.
Then I could take the front cover off, but none of the "stuff" underneath would slide off the distorted shaft. Now that I had more room to operate with the hub and front cover gone, I could use a cutoff wheel to make a smooth slice, allowing the other stuff to slide off normally.
