I started with a 88 SE which I bought for $2k.

Was my seconds vehicle and was the first with more than 90HP!

My second Fc is my GTU which I got for $2400 and have now dumped an extra 5-6k in it to get this turbo conversion running. Hell Just Saturday I spent over $100 on small parts to gte the damn engine in the car.

I might add...took me a while to find her too, there were others but I really wanted that particular one so I just waited til the time was right and she came right to me (took long enough though )...but all good things come to those who wait right .

I'm 20, got the car when I was 19. I'd been wanting one since I was 14 and I finally got it. Once I get a decent job, I'm going to get a TII. That way I can have my N/A as my "reliable" daily-beater, and the TII as my fun/project car. I'm going to end up like british car collectors, with 5 or 6 different cars in various stages of disassembly and boxes of parts filling up the garage.

there are a lot of older RX-7 drivers. I've seen like 45+ drivng 2nd gens (probably original owners). Theyre just too busy drving to learn how to use the internet.

Also back in the day these cars where cheap but not like now. 2nd gens off the showroom floor where $16Gs and diiferent economy. I couldnt afford an FC in highscool so I drove a Kharmaan Ghia.

with the 15-20 group hovering near 50% right now, it explains a lot of why I and the other mods have to do so much moderating in this section.

Heck I would be most of them were not even born when their cars were...LOL

I turned 41 this month, and did purchase my first FC new from a dealer back in 87.
