Aftermarket seats

Well the TII I got didnt have seats in it. I wouldve installed racing seats anyways. Regardless, the car HAD REcaros in it, but he sold me cause I didnt want them, and they touched the roof.

I want to knowwhat seats everyone has in thier car, and how they look. I am finally getting the car towed to the house NEXT weekend and plan on going ***** to the wall to get it ready by early march. I am going to need aftermarket seats, so I figured I see who has what.

Post pics if you want, and yes I did a search for the search ****'s.

I got ARD 's in my Car..they are like the APC racing seats. They Are nice and Comfy and hold you in well.If you want to go 'Nuts' on Seats, then it would Be Bride,Recaro..along those lines..Check out these too www.yonaka.com They have guys Up here in Canada Selling them at A very "attractive price"(in between $350-$450 CDN a Set,NEW!)..you have to make Brackets for them though..you are going to find that The Brackets/sliders (whatever you want to call them) will have a Nice price tag on them(not exactly Cheap)..I did see Seat brackets on the Summit Racing Website for 60 bucks a piece. You can always Check out the "handy" Sec Gen Parts For Sale Section too.I am Picky when it comes to parts, and So Far,the Club's FS Section has Not let me down!..I actually would rather deal with the guys here than Buy Off of EBay!..Good luck.

Thanks guys. I think this is gonna be one of the harder decisions to make regarding the car. I know pretty much everything else I want to lay out with it but the seats are whats really givin me fits lol.

I would go with a set of slimmer seats, I have a set of yonakas, but they were too wide so I couldnt put em in.

corbeau

i am running a corbeau forza seat with their 3inch cam-lock 5-point harness; i ordered the seat with brackets that slide fr/bk. the seat fit perfectly, and as far as roof to 6-point rollbar to steering wheel relationships go it is great. i also use a 320mm bride wheel

I have been looking at Status Racing seats and seen em in Person at SEMA this past year. Very impressive seats, and not bad price either. http://www.statusracing.com/index.asp

Still lookin but these are in the mix of considerations also.

Well I think I have narrowed my search to these two seats.

buddy club Racing specs http://www.sportcompactonly.com/part...3&pr=0&p=90646

Chargespeed Racing specs http://www.sportcompactonly.com/part...3&pr=0&p=17078

The only thing I really have left to do is measure fitment for these seats and availability of mounts and sliders. Tell me what you all thinks of these choises.

Im running the Mazdaspeed seats. They are very comfortable, and wide for "big" people.
