aftermarket intake

Does anyone make an intake that replaces all the stock intake piping? My mechanic told me one of my intake pipes is cracked and contributing to idle problems. He also added that most intakes hook up to this part that needs to be replaced. I am wondering if I can get an intake to solve the problem and get a little better performance at the same time. Or do I need to do some custom work?

EDIT: This is on an '88 TII if it matters.

Find out which part it is. Probably the intact duct. Yes, you can create a larger homemade duct.

How do you mount the AFM on a S5 if you're using a custom TID?
Because I wanna do this and I'm too broke to afford a standalone... lol

The AFM is partially supported by the TID itself, but needs some sort of bracket to hold it steady. Grab some aluminium bar (I used 10x3) and get creative.
