After rebuild?

Hey all, just got my engine rebuilt for my 88 GXL. While I was spinning it to ensure nothing was binding while tightening the tension bolts, I heard the front rotor "whistling" while the rear wasn't making that much noise. In other words, the front seemed to have compression and the rear didn't. Should I be worried or should I just install the engine and spin it using the starter to seat the apex seals? Just thought I'd ask some opinions. My wife really wants me to have this car done by the weekend, so I need help ASAP(if you're married, you'll understand!!!) Thanks.

When you built it did you put and lube around the rotors or some petroleum jelly. I had a **** load of that stuff in there and I could hear it make a compression sound. I would maybe squirt some oil in the rear to check. Its not gonna make much sound if there is no oil to help out though.

Women, wives especially, don't often understand the whole car thing to begin with. You might say something like that to her, but with tact, and gently inform her that if you rush it and thus screw it up, you could be back to square one or even worse. Take your time and make sure it's right.
