Aight guys im still into my fiberglass hobby/business and i have a large amount of bux coming my way from getting my car smacked.........so i plan on making a new hood design with a fresh mold a full on kit with some free time and a new front facia being first........i can live with pop ups but i like a sleek look and the closest thing i have seen is the eastbear and personally i think without a cover they look like shnit......so i thought about making my own with a flexed cover NSX style BUT i saw this pic and i have photoshopped it a bit and i think it is bad *** but problem is i am wondering if it is badass because its upper half has a slightly different curve than the stock because RE changed it or do you think it would look badass on stock style bumper.......Im going to make a hood very similar to the one in the pic but i just cant take my eyes off of those lights

you cant post images from other posts now since the file name the link is pointing to does not end in an image format ie. .jpg
have you made anything of FG or CF this big before? i like to mess around with that stuff too, once you start getting really big, things happen differently. what resin system are u using?

yes i make rev cowl hoods as somewhat of a hobby on the side and i hand lay the fabric and use polyester resin. And the hood would actually not be much harder than the one I already make. And the bumper would not be near as hard as a hood to make......the hoods are double sided..my question is do those lights look like that just because they are on that RE bumper in particular or would they look that proportianate on any bumper?

I love what clarks car is looking like, I wanted to do the wide body kit myself but decided to skip it so I could enjoy the car sooner. What material are they sticking to the side of it to base the wide flares off of?It looks like blue plastic, am I right or it is something else?
P.S. the orange cars front bumper would be easy to do even with a stock bumper modifed, then you could give up the pop ups like I did. Just the motors and crap alone I removed saved me about 20 lbs. or more.

thats what i was thinking....but another reason i want to go with the non pops like the eastbear style i will be doing soon hopefull is so i can set up some kind of ram air for the intake and with the absence of a light there it might be plausible if i go thru the ftp and cut some metal.....and Jon i really like the work you did with the car..get some S5 tails please!!!
