Smile The adventure begins

Well today I began my new adventure, and a first for me. I started sanding and priming my 86 GXL for paint today. I started doing it all by hand, but tomorrow I think I am gona go buy a decent sander ( anyone recommend a certain brand?). I worked for 2 and a half hours and all I got done was the roof, and about halfway down the sides. But it was pretty fun, and amazingly for the first time doing this it has turned out pretty good so far.....well wisk me luck with my new adventure.

Dewalt random orbital. Has worked great for me .. and it takes those Pads.. so you can swap paper real easy. also it vacuum's the dust as you work.

Campbell Hausfeld makes a great brand of sander for this type of work... but you gotta be somewhat set-up of course.

I would worry a tad about using an orbital sander for car sanding....
