adjusting timing?

how do you adjust the timing on my 87 TII??? whats equal to top dead center on a piston engine...so confused. still a rotary noob. i fixed my TPS and that helped stop the bucking a lot but its still there just a little. im guessing this might be part of the problem. correct me if im wrong, or lead me in the right direction.

thanks,
-Matt

Hook a timing light up to leading 1 and line up the pointer with the yellow mark on your main pulley. You turn the cas to adjust it.
