Adding a spoiler (mounting question)

I want to add the spoiler from a gxl or turboii don't care what really just one of those but not the sport one. I think they bolt to the car right? So should i drill holes and mount it or will some good 3M tape like people use for body kits hold it on?

I would suggest drilling holes and mounting it. The 3M tape will get weaker over time and plus, it'll be easier for someone to steal if they wanted to .

the spoiler should have the bolts, you'll need nuts for the underside.

i installed an OEM spoiler to my RX7 when I did the paint job to it 2 yrs ago.

I drilled the holes before painting obviously....but the bolts are molded into the spoiler. Just tighten the nuts down from the inside of the hatch area.

The spoiler hasn't gotten any weaker or come loose in any way in that time and I have had the car up to 110 mph

i suggest getting some of those washers at the hardware store that have adhesive on them, prevents water from getting through into the vehicle.
