adding a factory spoiler

Hi, I have an 88 GXL that didnt come with a rear spoiler. I like the look of the spoilers on these cars and would like to add one to my car. I would emagine they bolt onto the body of the car... Is there any way to figure out where to drill the holes for the spoiler to mount down? I would like to get it PERFECT the first time, so I dont screw up the body of my 7. Any ideas? Thanks

I did alot of searching before i posted this... I noticed that everyone says its pretty easy but noone ever said exactly how to make sure the spoiler goes on perfectly straight the first time. Is there any way to make a template or something so the holes get drilled exactly where they are suppose to?

The left side has a hole for the antenna. Set the spoiler over the antenna and center it. That's my HINT OF THE DAY.

but isnt there studs sticking out of the spoiler? With the studs sticking out, doesnt it raise the spoiler up enough to where you may not be able to tell if you are perfectly centered over the antenna?

Well, you could make a cardboard template with the stud holes and antenna hole incorporated in it???? Yes you could. Or you could use the calibrated eyeball.
