Only if they were already stuck out - if your engine is cranking with the starter then it won't hurt anything. If your starter won't TURN the engine and you pull it with a car, that's another story.

when i had the plugs out it sounded like my engine was getting great compression, i was impressed actually with how strong and smooth it sounded....
so push starting the car wont hurt it?, i'm thinking, getting it going 20km/h and popping the clutch, or easing it out?...
i DONT want to hurt anything, and i dont wana try the ATF thing just incase it doesent work, any other idea's would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Just ease it out like you would shift it normally. Once it starts to run, keep it going for a while until it gets up to temperature good. The one I had to start this way had some apex seals that were stuck in because the engine had been sitting for a while. After it got a good heat cycle on it, they rode free on the springs again.

definetly get new plugs as well. Just because your plugs look as good as new doesn't mean a thing. They are still junk from being flooded so bad. Beleive me, Change your plugs!! and maybe try some starting fluid

heres the help
ok my 86 is always trying to flood and usually holding the gas pedal to the floor solves it. although sometimes that just doesnt do it, so my advice is to u is to go put everything back together and go to the back of the car behind the drivers speaker tower there is the wire harnes for ur fuel pump disconnect it and try to start the car. if it doesnt start the first time keep tring. ps the only way i found out about this is i got stranded at work one day and tried everything other people had told me, nothing worked but this. hope it works for u like it did me and good luck. im me back with the results

ok ok ok, so all 4 spark plugs are supposed to be firing apparently, regardless;
IT STARTED!!!!
hahahaha, the power line from my MSD6AL was loose on the positive terminal for my battery, it tightened it up and it started the first try!!!!
it idle's very nice, well.... at 2600rpm....
so i need to adjust the idle and go from there i guess, check for leaks, etc, but it should be good to go!!!!
thanx for all your help guys!, if you have any advice about adjusting the idle please let me know!!!!
