Can anyone say noobie. Strck RWHP is around 110-120 depending on how health the engine is. ALSO the 146 factory flywheel rating is with the FACTORY exhaust. Adding a higher flowing exhaust system will increase flywheel HP as well as Wheel HP.

hey 13bpower,
fly hp is calculated with no exhaust and no car just the engine, an 89-91 will produce 110-120 rwhp but the 86-88 will only get to roughly 100. your exhaust alone will take around 20 rwhp away (mainly because of the restrictive cats) Try receiving a mazda certification before challenging an ase cert mazda tech.

Thats funny, because Ive seen a S4 N/A dyno at 118rwhp, completely stock. S5 N/A Dyno at 138rwhp, again stock...

Well according to people that have done dyno runs, about 115-120rwhp. According to VILLYN RX-7 , 100rwhp.

And as far as intake mods go, an adapter and a cone filter would be about $60 (get the good beveled adaptor from www.k2rd.com, and a K&N filter) The you could port match the intake manifolds (pretty much free, just a few dremmel bits. Do a search for "intake porting" and read up on how-to)

all the hp in the world can't save you from being a good driver. I say, learn how to driver well then add power. Intake, exaust, and engine porting. If you're still hungry get a turbo.

You are certainly the worst mazda tech I've ever seen.
