ACV and Split Air Solenoid
Ok all,
Can someone tell me where both of these should be connected. I think the person who had the car before me hooked them up wrong.
Well.. one anyways... the split air wires aren't hooked up at all. The ACV was hooked up under the MAF.
I thought they went in front of the TB kinda by the Alternator. There are 2 plugs there. What color wires should I plug into which connector. In front of the alternator there is a white, and a black plug.
Thanks all.

We're not comunicating. The acv has two solenoids screwed into it. The fwd solenoid is the port air solenoid. Its wires are brown/red and black/white. The rear solenoid is the split air solenoid. Its wires are black/white and blue/black.
The port air solenoid is pulled in whenever the car is running if you have over 20,000 miles. The split air solenoid is engaged only in fifth gear. It adds ADDITIONAL air to the split air pipe. Not All the air to the split air pipe.

For what its worth, the acv is not controlled by those two solenoids. Its primarily controlled by the two small vacuum lines pointing straight up, near the top of the acv. Both should be pulling a vacuum at idle. The fwd vac hose comes from the switching solenoid on the other side of the engine. Its grey in color. The rear vacuum hose comes from the other side of the engine from the relief solenoid, blue in color. Those two solenoids are controlled indirectly from the tps thru the ECU.
