ACV Blockoff Plate - any side effects?
I saw a post a while back where a memebr indicated that after he put the ACV blockoff plate on his check engine would illuminate.
Anyone else had this problem? I want to get rid of my airpump soon and already have the plate.

You probably need to trick the ECU into thinking the ACV is still there. There’s only one solenoid on the ACV, so if you measure the resistance of that solenoid and stick a resistor of similar value into the empty plug in the engine bay, the ECU will not know the difference.

I have my ACV and EGR blocked off. The only "side effect" that I can think of is that it wont pass emissions. Other than that, I have not had any lights come one. I still have my O2 sensor. But ACV and airpump removed.
