AC killing idle - stall
ok alot of people have been coming to me about their a/c stalling out their car on idle. i was in an s5 n/a with 150k miles. ran great. posible small vac leak, ran strong.
when you turn on the ac at idle its fine. but when you tap gas or come back down from high rpm. it wants to die. but only when you have the AC on.
in an automatic n/a s5 i had the same symptoms. and i am curious what to tell them about their problems. is it fixable? is it just because its an old engine? whats the deal with it?

The BAC valve adjusts idle to compensate for increased engine loads like the AC. Yours may be clogged or just not working. Check in the FSM under the fuel section for instructions to clean and check the function of the BAC.
