AC&CV Block off plate question

I have the streetable header, and it came with the AC&CV block off plate so all I did was take the nut and two bolts out and unclipped the two solenoid valve wires and removed the AC&CV thing, and then put the plate on, now I have a rough idle and bogging in high rpm. Is there anything else I am suppose to do before I put the plate on or anything to do after I put the plate on?

Did you use a gasket? You have a leak right there.

Spray around the area of the ACV plate with carburetor cleaner or brake clean and see if the idle goes up.

The "little round thing" is a check valve in the passage to the exhaust ports. You can remove it, but you still need to use a gasket or RTV to seal it off & all of the other passageways. It sounds like you still haven't done this.

ok ok ok thanks yea I just went around the edge of the block off plate not around each little passage way. Im gonna go do that right now. And is it gonna be bad if some liquid gasket gets inside of those little passage ways?
