99% complete swap , ran into this

so im finishing up my last couple things before i fire up my long awaited turbo swap, and i found this little plug on the back of my UIM, i can seem to locate the mating connector for it, and frankly im not sure what it is or if i need it ... any input would greatly be appreciated

s4 vert
t2 swap, JDM UIM/LIM , s5 turbo, FD fuel pump, Rtek 1.7 , HKS BOV, FMIC, All Emissions removed, TB MOD, NO PS/AC,

That looks like the ASV (air supply valve). It serves a function similar to the BAC. If you're using NA harnesses, there's nowhere for you to connect it. You can remove it and cover the holes with a block-off plate. I took mine off my engine from the start, and my idle is stable.

Yup, forget about it. It ties into a solenoid on the powersteering and acts just like the the BAC except for just one function, powersteering load. I ran a wire from my starter solenoid wire to it so that when I turn the key it opens that little valve. Helped a little because it leaned out the already too rich start-up map a little. But before I had that idea I didn't worry about it and just tucked the wire and all was well.
