The current stat is working exactly as it should.

BTW, citing your operating temps is useless unless you note the ambient temperature also.

I should have recorded that. I would say in the 70's. That's why I still want the 160* tsat, it gets a lil hot in Florida.

I currently replaced the coolant temp sensor and now my temps on the highway are 70*c!!! I'm running about 64*c city driving. I am extremely happy. Thank you all.

Seems odd that the highway trmps are higher than city...I'd expect just the opposite.

I'm cruising at 3k plus? The motor is coming out today so I'll see if there where any underlining issues.

I would expect this. He has a front mount intercooler. My experience with the A/C condenser in front of the radiator yields the same situation and has been that way on oem rad, all-metal replacement, BMF-Griffin Rad, and even my new KOYO aluminum rad. I would consider it normal.

Your experience is quite different with no A/C condenser.
