93 FC shift boot and knob fit a 88 FC?

huh? The FC ended in 92 technically. If you mean the FD, the FD has the same shift **** threads as the 89-92 cars and the Rx-8's. The 86-88 cars have a different thread pitch the boot will not work. it is mounted in a competely different shaped interior piece. you would have to pull the FD center console piece apart to see what I mean.

So if I had a 89-92 FC shifter, the FD **** would work then just not the boot?
