91' vert wont idle (yes ive check for vacuum leaks)
simple enough the car ran fine, but was slow because one of the 6port sleeves were seized and the vdi wasnt functioning because the airpump was removed, so i tore down the manifolds put everything back together just was it was and it will no longer idle. starts fine, revs up and dies. i can keep it running by tapping the throttle, and it drives fine under full throttle, though lacking in power. ive been through the manifolds and vacuum rack 3 times now looking for a leak and i cannot find one. all of my gaskets are good and theirs rtv gasket in between every surface of the intake system. it still hits me as a vacuum leak, but i dont know where it could be. this is driving me nuts, if anyone has had this problem and knows my problem it would be awesome if you could help me out.

Incorrect vacuum routing, things connected improperly (injectors, other wiring), vacuum leaks, messed up TPS/throttle stop. It's almost always some kind of vacuum issue right after swapping your intakes around, or messed up wiring somewhere along the line.

A common area that'll leak if you removed/did anything with them is the injectors, the rubber underneath them gets a bit hard afterwards and that can cause issues after you remove/reseat them. (If you did)

the injector grommits looked like they were still in good shape, but i did find my injector ground ungrounded, hiding under my wiring harness, i guess thats what i get for putting stuff together in the dark. in the process i wrecked my IM gaskets, so i tried just using some RTV gasket, but i dont think i did a good enough job. im going to cut out some new gaskets and then hopefully this problem will be donewith and i can finally enjoy my new car in this nice weather!

I've done a lot of searching and found a few threads dealing with this same problem, but I never found any threads where it actually gets fixed. The threads all died off for some reason.

my car is somehow missing all the injector air bleed parts (circled in orange in pic). The previous owner was probably trying to save some money (those parts add up to about $150) when the engine was rebuilt
.
I've got the parts, when I have time I'll put it back together and hope that fixes the problem. I'll let you guys know how it goes. If it's not that, I don't know what else to look for. I hope the block isn't leaking.![Scared](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/scared.gif)
How and why I think this happened, in case you're interested
:
When I had the injectors cleaned, I noticed the primary fuel rail spacer was missing, so I replaced it. (not sure how I missed the bleeds then). Now, I think the spacer was left off on purpose so the injectors would be snug without the air bleeds, but when I added the spacer, the injectors were not seated properly. The grommets were probably not all the way down, so I thought the injectors were fine, but over time the grommets settled and the injectors got really loose, causing a missive air leak. At least that's my theory.
