91 NA Questions
Hello all. I recently purchased a 91 NA with low compression on the rear rotor. After looking at options at either another engine or rebuilding, I have come to the conclusion that a rebuild would be better, money wise and performance. Now come the good questions,
1) Where to get the parts for the rebuild
2) I want performace and reliability, what mods to do to the engine
3) Keep it under $1500 if at all possible
4) Carb or FI
Tell me what you guys think.

Thought about that but a rebuilt runs between $1500 and $2000. This would not include any mods at all. I have another S5 engine block and between the two I should be able to come up with enough good parts to rebuild one good motor. Even with buying new housings, I would be under $1500. And a used motor is kinda out of the question because you never know its history and I would hate to put $700-$1000 into a used motor and then have it pop in a few months. I have built many V8 motors and rebuilding a rotor will not be hard, just want a few ideas from the veterans. Thank you for the suggestion, though.
