91 NA No Start

Ok so I replace the stock fuel pump with a Walbro 255 fuel pump go through the procedure install the new part reconnect hoses start the car cranks over no problem. Then I turn the car off and come back to start it the car wont turn over it cranks and cranks but wont turn over. Check the fuel pump make sure everything is connected and tight everything looks good. I tried cranking the car over with the fuel lines disconnected to make sure fuel was pumping and it was from the line by the fuel pump and the engine.Tested the volts with a meter it read 3 volts when just the battery was connected and 10 volts when it was cranking not sure if maybe this has something to do with it? I didnt replace the relay sensor or the fuel filter yet either maybe this is the problem?Im not sure what to do any help will be much appreciated. Also the car ran just fine before I installed new part.

Before we even get into this, why did you put a 255 on an NA? If you are running the stock ECU, you probably lost HP with that modification.

what exactly did you test that showed 3-10V? Was that the power going to fuel pump? If it was, I'd say that's a big problem since you're not seeing 12V.

It was the fuel pump relay connector i believe. The connector thats is attached to the wire underneath the carpet.I thought it might be the battery so I tried to jump it but no luck.Anyone have any ideas?

That is exactly my point. To fix your problem you need to remove the 255.

I am just trying to help. The N/A naturally runs rich off the ECU. Installing the 255 only amplifies the problem.

Let us know.
