I beat a 94 GSR with my 88 gtu so you shouldn't have any problem the advantage we have over other cars is our gearing we have very long gears and an integra or prelude have short gears so you can hold 2nd and 3rd and he'll have to hit fourth and unless he can shift extremly fast he's gonna drop about a car length every shift so just make sure you use up your gears but not too far and you should get him!!!

you guys will have about the same power. his only advantage is being a little lighter (but not much if at all) launch well and you should deffinetly take him out of the hole, he might catch up by the 1/8 but then to the 1/4 or beyond you should have the edge since you have taller gears and lower drag.

gsr's are like 170 to the flywheel stock. Your 91 n/a is 160 flywheel stock. Looking at your mods you should have about 160 to the ground, at least. You will smoke him! His muffler doesn't do ****, absolutly nothing! plus his car is front wheel drive. If you lose this race it's purely because you can't drive. assuming that your car is in good mechanical condition. If your motor was built correctly you should have even more than 160 to the wheels, don't worry about it. I would say you will smoke him on the launch cause we are rear wheel drive but you don't have lsd (do you?) so it could be pretty close on the launch. but i'm sure you'll get him.
Dom
If it's any help i beat a gsr with header, exhaust, intake, and partially stripped with my 86 base that had a cone filter and manifold, to raptor muffler, to side pipe for exhaust. but i did have lsd. I had him by like 2 cars or more. With my streetported n/a on the other hand i absolutly walk gsr's with out a problem.

Neither of you because street racing is for losers. Stop that **** before you kill yourself or someone else, go to a real drag strip if you want to race

The nearest dragstrip to me is over an hour away and I'll still never race on anything else. It's your choice if you want to do stupid ****, but just because there isn't any traffic there still doesn't mean it's safe.

It's more than just an empty road that makes a real drag strip safer...

wether your out in the boonies,
or when you go to the kent area street races, your there in an empty industrial area at 2 am theres no inocent bystanders watching, they are all racers, gangs or drug dealers or people who go to watch street races,
so when someone crashes its someone crashing into another street racer who knew the risks anyway.
and we race knowing theres no medical attension, or safty so if you race and die or get hit by someone, you will know it was your own fault for being there or racing. and its a chance that i and alot of other people are willing to take.
so as to stay on topic, i raced a like 98 or so stock gsr on hte freeway with my 87 rx-7 ( AWAY FROM TRAFIC) and it was pully on me slightly, i had a full exhaust system but i had one of those gay silencer inserts in ( to keep noise down a wee bit) which took most of the power away. it prolly pulled on me since my engine has bookoo miles and about 90 compression all around...

I agree with you completely kompressor, everybody out there knows whats going on and knows the risks. Medical crews, fire crews, thats all good but us risk takers out here are all about racing, not stupid racing because that is not what this is. Of course everybody has their own opinions and we are ALL intitled to them, but this is all we have so we use it very wisely. If some idiot tries coming back down the drag road instead of taking the detour back to the *staging area* his *** is kicked out, he will not race ever again. These are friend against friend grudge matches 90% of the time so if somebody crashes there are plenty of people (bout 200) there to call for help. It's your option to be safe all the time, by no means is anyone calling you a ***** for not street racing, nor should you call us stupid for making a *safe, free enviorment to race, you just would rather crash at a strip than crash in the boom docks. Everybody knows the risks of racing altogether, street or strip if your around people who are reckless there will always be major risks involved.
My friend had an integra 90' ls, it would go head to head with my buddies old 85 1/2 944. If you have a streetport etc. you shouldn't have a hard time beating himn

Um, the mention of racing an Integra on the street is somewhat acceptable to about 50% of the people on these boards... But asking if you'll beat an F-150??? That's just ridiculous... Not to profile, but I'm guessing you're a sophmore/junior in highschool. DON'T RACE ON THE STREETS. I'm not trying to break you down, but use sober judgement to assess your own abilities... When I was a junior in HS, I crashed my N/A FC into a bush and rock when I was taking a turn. The reason I crashed was because I started 'pushing' and since I was unexperienced in hard cornering, I hit the brakes instead of merely letting off the gas and 'engine braking' through the rest of the turn. Gain experience before you find your self having to make a split second decision that could have grave consequences.
(BTW, if you're not 16 or 17, I apologize. But anyone who wants to honestly race an F-150 HAS to be somewhat new at driving).
