91' dash conversion

I have an 87 TII and would like to know the precedures and the the amount of time it will take to do this particular conversion.

You have to change the dash wiring harness. Its easier to just buy an S4 dash unless you wanted a black one, then you have to look for a 10th AE dash, which are rare. Although I do have a spare AE dash...

why? theres nothing really different between the dashes but the plastics that you can swap inbetween the 2 dashes.

You also have a series5 car and not a series4 like Dan H was talking about. The only series4 car that came with a black dash was the 10th Anniversary edition.

I put a black S5 dash in my 88 vert. and it is not hard at all. it took me about two hours, (I am fast at interior work though). the only big difference I noticed is that my S4 radio surround fits a little different. But remember to remove the dash and steel bracing as one unit, the dash then screws to it from behind, that got me at first for a little while. Also some of the wiring is attatched and has to be swapped over when its out.
