AZ 89 na lsd unit in a miata diff?

I have a 89 na rx7 lsd and was wanting to know if the limited slip unit would fit into a miata diff case?
I know you can take a miata diff unit and use it in a rx7.

They are interchangeable with the 1.8L rear ends. I have friends who have performed this.

89 is viscous, isnt it?

I have a clutch type FC NA diff in my1.8 miata and when I compared the stub axles they are the same. Not sure on the viscous type, but the clutch type are definitely interchangeable.

I tried a torsen in the Miata first and did not care for it due to it is more like an open diff in the winter.

Viscous type has uneven stub shafts for FC's. Don't know how that'll work for a Miata.
