Question 89 J-spec engine into an 88T2

Does anyone know what kind of problems are specific to putting an 89 J-spec turbo engine into my Anniversary? What parts are/aren't compatible? I'm specifically wondering about the flywheel. I have a 9.5 lb aluminum flywheel that I paid a LOT of money for and if I can't use it I'll be very p*ssed off.

i know exactly what has to be done to make it work. i have done the swap myself. you have to swap the front cover(different OMP)and the upper and lower intake manifold(different TPS). thats pretty much it. your flywheel should work. i cant see why not. my 89+ motor is attatched to a 88 aniversary trans. so i cant see there beig a difference between the two. its kinda tough figuring out the wiring harness but its not impossible. well worth the effort.

To use your expensive lightened flywheel, you'll need to purchase a proper 1989 counterweight for it...
