![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
when i first got my Turbo II i took it down to the track. the best time i ran was 15.4. i parked the car for a while, then started to drive it again (about a month later) and i started putting a little cash into it, im in debt so its hard :-)
i installed a FCD from racingbeat.com, a checkvalve in the line coming off of the wastegate (for more boost), i have 3rd gen rims on the back (waiting on spacers for the front), and 2 days before i took my car to the track i blew the welds off my exhaust right after my cat so it was wide open after the cat.
i ran my car and my fastest time was 15.8 wtf. now i know i have a bad clutch, but i couldnt tell that it was slipping while i was racing (no so does anyone have any ideas about whats going on?

.4 tenths can be anything compare your reaction times and 60ft times. Are you getting more boost ? FCD is pretty destructive mod if you have a S4 you should check into a henrick chip from www.pocketlogger.com Rtek chip is pretty nice and wont cause your motor to pop like the FCD. I think instead of spending good money on bad mods you probably need to do the tried and true mods.. (fuel pump rewire, filters, tuneup , suspension, tires. ) Your stock t2 times were in teh ballpark for a stock t2 you just need to improve your technique (and a clutch would help too..)

thanks for the feedback. im not doing anything else to the car for a while but as soon as im out of debt im gonna rip the whole car apart. i want to throw in a new wiring harness because the dude before me did some shaky stuff. and i want to send out my trany to get it built up somewhere (havent decided where yet) and ill throw in an exedy stage 1 or 2 clutch. until then.... stay slow :-(

What is a "check valve"?
Did you fix your exhaust?
Did you drop the suspension?
What kinda tires are you running in the rear?
The first time at the track when you hit the 15.4?
The second time at the track when you hit the 15.8?
Temperature and humidity at the track?
On the 15.4 run?
On the 15.8 run?
