Hello all, I just got a new used engine to put into my 88 gtu, and I Was wondering if all the injectors are the same? Mine all seem o be red tipped with black in the middle, but acual tip on some of them looks like its further back. (making me think it would be a different size maybe?)

All the model numbers are the same.

(so just to make sure its clear) are the primary and secondary injectors the same?

 

Weird, it says that an 88 13b NA should be purple, but mine are all red.

What size injectors does my RX-7 use? What colour are they?

they are 1350 though so as long as it connects to my wireing harness it should be ok right?

 

Yes the primary and secondary injectors are the same.

Look at the the injector where the harness plugs onto it. There should be an offset tab on the bottom.

 

No. The red tops are low impedance, while the purples are high impedance. You either need to add a resistor pack, or take it out, I cant remember off the top of my head. I think you need to add one, but wait for someone to confirm this. Basically, it would be easier if you could find some purple tops to buy.
