88 Non-Turbo GTU RX-7 inside voltage reading
[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=7] Need some input, I was driving home last night when I noticed that my inside voltage was indicating 16 Amps....not good, I had the alternator changed from it's original about 2 months ago. when I accelerate it will hit 16, when I let off the acceleration it is normal; also until I can put it in the shop on Mon morning is it ok to drive from point A to point B within a 5 mile radius and some resolution to the problem.

there is not a amp gauge in the RX-7...
So you must mean the voltmeter.
The voltage should never be above 15 volts. Do not drive the car if it is exceeding 15 volts or you will start burning out electrical items.
Your alternator is failing

I would not recommend it, however if you must drive, drive with every electrical device on in the car to try and suck down some of the voltage.
Bare in mind, many of the parts in the stock ECU are only rated for 15 volts, so driving with the voltage at 16 can cause damage.
And your multiple threads on this have been merged together
