'87 TII won't start...
I just bought an 87 TII that's been sitting for about a year...
The engine turns over quickly,
and appears to have good compression.
It just won't fire up...
I'm sure that it's either getting no fuel, or no spark.
I'm just looking for some ideas on where to start here...
I have some iridium plugs and 8mm wires for it.
I also have a set of coils, so I figured I'd throw that stuff on there.
ALL INPUT IS WELCOMED!!!

1- Test to see if it's getting spark. Take each of the shift boots off, place them near the frame, and crank the car over. If you see an arc, you're probably good to go. Oh, and don't touch the sparks
.
2- Test to see if you're getting fuel / your injectors work. I would use the test in the FSM(I think) where you leave the injectors hooked up to the fuel rail, but have them spray into something like a cup.
3- Don't just throw parts at it. That's nothing but a waste of money. Test to find out what's wrong, then buy what you need.

I always like to go back to the fuel pump and take off the hoses and crank it and see if it is working and be careful with the gas catch it ,pull off coolant overflow hose and put that on the pressure side and run to milk jug or something ,if you have a timing light that is the easiest way to check for spark .
