Unhappy 87 TII....turbo problems HELP!

So my car was running tip top 4 days ago but i tried putting a blitz bov on and it wasn't opening up...so then i tried an old school hks bow adjusted both to as soft as the springs could get and still no opening. so i was like what the hell is going on. and with these bovs on i would get a flutter which im assuming was compressor surge but i drove it for like 2 min testing each bov and decided to throw the stock piping and bac valve etc. back on. and i get the same noise as when i had the bovs on, when i boost? its like a fluttering blowing out air/fluttering really quiet whistle sound. the only things i can think of are 1. my turbo is blown 2. its waste gate flutter? but i wouldn't get waste gate flutter with the stock setup back on right?

Please, any advice would be very very very appreciated.

Thank beforehand.

The debate over whether or not a BOV is even necessary continues to this day. You did not blow your turbo by having a BOV temporarily hooked up improperly. You probably created a boost leak somewhere, which is causing the whistling sound.

idk if its a book leak...i put all the stock stuff back on...and took it even further and put my stock air box back on and now it is back to normal except a very unusually high idle. what do you think i might have done wrong to cause a boost leak?
