87 TII helped needed!

HI,

I have a 87 TII with a problem

The car has no power at all. Will not go over 45mph! Whenever i hit the gas it just makes a chattering noise (not from engine) the turbo is boosting and the car is making power, just not making it to rear wheels.

ANy ideas?

Thanks

check your drive train, and make sure your E brake isn't on
It's possible a caliper is locked up or some thing, I don't know, maybe your diff is shredded

you could jack up the rear end off the ground and start it and put it in gear, check where it's coming from that way ( wouldn't recomend if you don't work on cars and know what you're doing or you could end up with an rx in a garage door or something)
