87 rx7 NA won't start and i'm lost
to start with i had a fuel leak yesterday so i take the intake mani off and fix the cracked line. put the intake mani back on. with the same gasket put the tb back on the full air box hooked up the air pump and the air sensor and it started right up. it wouldn't idle but it sounded strong well after adjusting the idle i get back in and it won't even start, i'm getting fuel, i'm getting spark and the plugs are saturated in fuel. not sure if i flooded it but im lost as hell right now. i waited like an hour to start it and it still wouldn't start. wondering if it could be the intake man from where it didn't get put on right or what. i would appreciate any help what so ever

you should check all the vacumm lines, maybe you missed one-- i have done this, the car idles like ****.
you shouldnt have had to re-adjust the idle, unless it was incorrect to begin with.
do a search on the unflooding process. I do it like this--
1) unplug the CAS
2)crank the engine two or three times, each at 10 seconds.
3)reconnect the CAS
4)start
the other methods work well, which include removing a spark plug from each of the rotor housings...
let me know,

btw, i did this exact same thing, for the exact same reason.
the fuel line that supplies fuel to the primary fuel rail was cracked, fuel was puddling, then dripping down the side of the engine.
i reused the UIM to LIM gasket, everything is fine. As long as the gasket was NOT broken its ok. Broken meaning gasket on both lower intake manifold and uper intake manifold.

I've had problems starting after re-installing the UIM. Once it was that I forgot to re-install the large vacuum hose that comes off the intake, the other was that I forgot to pluf in my AFM.
Just make sure everything is on tight.
