Angry 87' fc T2 transmission?

mines grinding 5th but still working for now , dont want downtime so lookin to buy a spare have it rebuilt then just do a quick in and out. Is there a stronger tranny than stock thatll bolt up without fab work ? or should i just go with stock again and hope i dont miss a gear as bad as i did this time haha

The TII gearbox is very robust, I've seen a few guys run 9 and 10 second quarters with the stock transmission. A rebuild will get rid of your grinding issues and improve the general quality of your shifts.

I had my T2 transmission rebuilt and it has been great to me (no griding), you just need good fluid for it after the rebuild.
