86 n/a motor idle fluctuating
Hello, my name is noel and i had just recently purchase a 86 mazda rx7 n/a..Recently the car is suddenly starting to fluctuate, juke and dies out on me out of nowhere..? I am a honda/acura guy, so rotary is something new to me, but when that usually happens to a honda/acura motor it usually means that there is a leak with a hose or either the TPS sensor is going out. So i dont really know if i can apply the same stuff to a rotary engine. I also notice that the oil meter on the dash is not working out of nowhere, so i'm not sure if the oil meter on the dash has just gone out,or the sensor in the engine bay is just bad or im seriously not getting any oil movement in the motor.. so if anyone can give me tips on where to start that would be really helpful.. thank you

Sooo, the idle is 'hunting' then stalls? Hunting idle is a common problem, search 'tps adjustment'.
Oil pressure gauge is pretty common to die. I'd get an aftermarket one and ignore the stock, retarded, cousin.

The wire has fallen off the oil pressure sensor that is located below the oil filter.
Make sure the BAC's elect plug has not fallen off or is just barely on the BAC.
What is the latest maint you've done prior to the stange idle?
