80amp fuse wont come out of the fuse block..

80amp fuse wont come out of the fuse block..

so my 80 amp main fuse blew and is apparently welded into the block in the engine bay. ****** thing wont come out, what am i to do now, or where would i find a used one somewhere? thanks a lot guys.

it comes out, theres 2 small panel door openings on both sides of the fuse cluster.. 2 10mm bolts on 1 side and 1 on the other, take out all 3 of them (MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS DISCONNECTED) and it comes out. its not a snap in job like the rest of them

ahahahahahahahaah lmfao this is some funny ****. make a huge list of mods, and all these kewl things on your car, and you cant remove a fuse... PRICELESS!!

hey, some people never have to remove that fuse and some cars don't have the mains bolted in like that...just make sure you disconnect your battery before messing with that fuse

i had a hard time with that fuse too! Its not really obvouse that there is bolts behind those flaps!

hey, i did the same thing, busted up the fuse pretty bad too. then i found the bolts, and couldnt get them loose, so i used an impact wrench, which shatterd the entire block into little pieces

haha,i blew that fuse today too,and my friend tried to pull it out with a pair of vice grips and broke the thing all to peices and the of all people,my GIRLFRIEND has to suggest that maybe it;s bolted in behind those flaps. So we pry them open and guess what. We look like ******* morons.

hahah well, i knew about taking out the 80A fuse but i did install all my parts then car wouldnt start nothing, then i check the fuse, and the MAIN FUSE HAD TO HAVE BLOWN...DAMNIT

hahaha i did this too!
used the vice grips and smashed it to bits, damn, but i just wrapped some fuse wire round the terminals and now its all good again
