75 shot (zex) on turbo motor

hey guys i got a big race coming up. street racing over here is coming back to life but its coming back in a better way. its done privatly now. so ya anyways. i was running my car this past saturday night, and of corse i was the fastest one out there. (i only ran my car twice) there was a guy there that was saying my car was slow and all. i showed him what was up when i raced a nitrous breathing h22 civic coupe. well right off the lauch i was gone (i have slicks ) but back to the point this guy ran up to me and asked me if i wanted to run for money against his car(mk3 supra). so he asked me how much i wanted to race for, in reply i told him how much does he want to donate. then he got mad and said 250. and i agreed being a dumass just because iwas the fastest car out there. but back to the point

what do you guys think of me runing a 75 shot (dry) just for that race. so i can woop te **** out of him and take his money. oh ya i have plenty of fuel so im not worried about not having enough.

a 75 shot of nitrous uses a rediculous amount of fuel. you can probably get away with it for one race, but its not a great idea unless you set up a trigger and run it wet.

You sound full of yourself, and street racing is retarded.

BUT, I'm sure for one race it'll be fine, even though a wet kit would be better/safer.

Soo....

you're going to spend 600+ dollars on a nitrous kit to win 250 dollars?

Oh yeah, I forgot...

To some, the respect is more important

Well, we'll be here to give you advice on rebuilding on a budget (that's $250 less than it otherwise would be) if it doesn't work out

who is he, I can see if he is on Supra forums, and what he is running. There are some MKIII Supras pushing 750rwhp, so watch it... Also, definitely test your whole system before running him. You need to practice launching with the N2O, or you may just smoke the slicks Do you have to run the N2O, or do you have more left in your existing set-up? What are your AFRs before adding the N2O. Is your clutch up to it, are you using the N2O for spool up, or all the way through? If you are beqating everyone, and he was watching, that means he feels he can beat what you are doing now, to feel that way, he must have you beat by a bit, like I said, careful. BTW Street racing is dumb, nuf said... You running ET Streets, or real slicks? Good luck. I am off too Supras Invade Las Vegas in a week, Many Supras are very capable drag cars. I will see some street driven Supras run 9s, and some IRS Supras run into the 8s. Anyway, let us know what happens, If you get the guys screen name on Supra forums, I will figure out what hes got going(not that I condone this. LMK, Carl 707-696-2705
