6 ports not opening and the ACV?

sometimes I can feel the ports open when I hit 3800rpm, but other times I don't feel the ports open. Same driving condition. Could the problem be with the ACV? I was thinking I was not getting air into the air pipe which leads to the cat.

Ok how does the ACV put the air into the ports? It is exhaust back pressure that activates your S4's auxilary(5th and 6th) ports. I would suggest checking for freedom of movement on the rods and sleeves. If they won't move easily then get to cleaning them.

Make sure everythin is hooked up properly the split air tube and the small line that goes to the ports themselves. Trust me the ACV has nothing to do with the s4 ports. MAX's car rungs fine with no ACV and just the pre-silencer hooked up to the SAP

Search for 5th and 6th ports or auxilary ports.

But in short. You remove the whole intake. Then you remove the sleeves and clean EVERYTHING sill it is spotless!!!!! Reverse the procedure and your done
