Question 5th and 6 ports?

i was told that an 87 t2 doesnt have the 5th and 6th ports. is this true. and if so then whats the tube going to the cat. is that connected to the acv. adn wheres that located. i dont mean to sound dumb. just trying to learn much as i can.

nope all turbo motors are a four port, and that line you are talking about is the air injection line for the catalytic converter.

so is it necessary, what would happen if i got rid of it,wheres the acv and what happens if i remove that and is that necessary.

The cat needs that line to work properly. Also if it is removed without the cat being removed also, the cat will clog (eventually) and you will lose power. Remove it all as a set and you should be alright.
