5PSI max w/some modes!?
#26
i dont recall seeing black smoke from exhaust. ima check 2morrow to make sure when i start boosting and when it reaches 5psi.
do u mean rtek 2.0?
the turbo had no play, and it spools good to 5psi, so i dont think its the turbo but i could be wrong. the mistu bov sounds like it goes off early, idk if anyone else has the samething, but when i hit the acclerator pedal alittle (even in when im not in gear) i can hear the bov releasing some air and im not even boosting yet. is that common? or is the spring messed up?

Does it do that when you less off, or when your still holding it down, if it does while your sitll holding it down, then that can be your problem. Just replace the BOV with a piece of pipe to test and see if that the problem.. if yuot boost goes back up to normal, replace the BOV.. And don't run with out a bov for to long... more then a week or so.. not good for the turbo.

What were those lines you were showing me that were reRouted: from turbo to this and that. . . My mind was boggin out today, I couldn't really focus to what you were showing me... I didn't even take snapshot of it...totally forgot.
This is just from out somewhere but did you check the Map Sensor? Like the voltages?_this is just a wild guess...
Can a faulty map sensor affect this? (idk)

so just place it with a piece of pipe? i cantry that. it releases alil when i let go of pedal. im also gettign this bucking when im boosting alil in 3rd or 4th gear, after i let go of pedal it bucks on me alittle. idk if that has to do with my problem also.

The bucking might be normal because you have an open vent BOV, so your engine runs stuiped rich while the BOV is venting off. But if your getting bucking while still on the throttle.. could be a boost leak.
Map sensor shouldn't affect this. Most likely nothing eltrical.. has to be something mechanical failing. I'd first start with checking to make sure the wastegate is rod is hooked up the lever, then bov, inspect the turbo itself.. Take of the ducting, and check for play. Also spin the turbo, it should spin freely and smoothly.

try to mash your BOV with a hammer, that guy wasnt joking i used to work at a DSM specialty shop lol when i first heard that i was shocked haha so either replace it with a piece of pipe or crush your BOV like mentioned previously.
