500 RWHP FC Can it be done???
Ok I just bought an FC, already have an FD that's gone single and is hovering around 450 Rwhp. I have an extra engine that is a full bridgeport S5 13b 2mm mazda seals 1000 / 800 injectors lightened flywheel ect ect. I did however cheap out on the turbo mainifold when I built it, and it's an e-bay T4 flange model. Anyway, I'm looking for a turbo, since I've decided to keep my other fresh engine (Large Streetport ) as a backup since summer is here and I'm sure I will end up at the track more than my wife likes, and things always seem to break.

Yes it can be done, I think it is cheaper than making an fd in that power range too. As for FC's there are lots of high hp ones floating around this forum, I know there is one that is well over 800WHP.

yeah check out the single turbo section. I am probably going to go with one of those boost referenced snow performance systems for AI. I am going to try for 500whp this summer, I think I'll be building another engine this winter!!!

Brakes on these cars are really good so unless you are tracking the car you should stick with a good tire and hawk pads with cheap NAPA/Advance rotors. Suspension you have a lot of options, it really depends on what you want to do with the car. For street driving and highway racing you should at the minimum get the GC coilover setup with Konis/Tokicos/AGXs and the standard Eibachs. Just make sure to get some sticky, wide tires.
