Thumbs down 5 Lug Conversion Prob's

well after spending a bunch of money on some more tools to get the job done, i ran into 2 big problems (one on each of the rear hubs) on the rear driver side hub a piece that is suppose to house a bolt broke and is completely screwed, so i need a new hub. and on the other side a bolt rounded, it was the last bolt before everything would slide out. So what i need now is some info and advice. First how much can i buy a rear hub for and if anyone in Vancouver can sell me one, contact me plz i really need it. Second, what are some methods of taking out bolts that have rounded heads (its on there pretty tight) tools are not really a problem since i own and have access to alot. Thanx guys this site has been a big help so far, i hope someone can help me

I'll try to get pics soon

You have a welder?

I used to weld nuts to the end of rounded bolts. Then just wrench on the nut.

Works like a charm.

To prevent this on the future:
Go to the store and buy a can of PB-Buster. Spry that stuff on your bolts and let them sit before you loosen them. When I am working on a corroded car, I go through the night before and douse all the bolts in that stuff. It works great.

If the nuts not too big, you could try using a Gator Grip. Or you could get some reverse drill bits and drill it out. Or you could use Vice grips.
