3rd Gen Turbo Header on 2nd Gen?

Does anyone know if a 3rd Gen turbo Exhaust manifold will bolt up to a 2nd gen turbo and or non-turbo motor.

It doesn't matter if it clears the intake or anything else in the engine bay, just curious what the differences are in bolt and port patterns.

I see the 2nd gen turbo vs. non turbo has a small hole on the rear for turbo and front for non-turbo.

The 3rd gen are 2 piece gaskets but look similar to the 3rd gen turbo gasket pattern.

the exhuast bolt pattern on the block is the same on all 13b minus the renisis which is side port of course...

those small holes are for various emisisons systems.. the manifold will just block those emission ports if it wasnt designed for the hole..

for example ive bolted a 2nd gen header onto an fd motor with no problem it lines up perfectly.

OK if you look at the gaskets on this page
http://www.mazdatrix.com/e6.htm
You will see the 2nd gen has an emissions hole on the front for NA and rear for turbo whereas the 3rd gen has a 2 piece gasket and has the hole on both the front and rear (I need to see a 3rd gen bare engine to confirm this). So if those gaskets are correct and the bolt pattern matches then the 3rd gen header should fit the NA & TII. You wont even have to block anything off, you would just get the proper gasket for your motor and thats it.
