3rd gen clutch in 2nd gen?

was wondering if any one knew if a 3rd gen clutch would fit in my 89 tII. lots of good deals for clutches on ebay but all for 3rd gens. damn those 3rd gens, always getting the good stuff!!!

The disk is usable. Short anwser for pressure plate is no, unless you want to change alot of FC parts for FD parts.

nope it won't work, there are pleanty of good clutches for the FC (exedy, RPS, ACT, Spec...etc)

get a ACT SS with a Xtreme duty PP plate. I have had both 6 puck and SS and I will have to say that the best streetable set up is the SS disk and the Xtreme PP. Don't get the PP heavy duty. Won't last
