2nd gen's would be better w/o bumper trim

Has anyone ever had their bumper trim removed and filled in the groove where the bumpers were (maybe with bondo or something) to create a smooth contour? I think that would make our cars look much better (not so 80s-ish). I've never seen this before, so maybe it can't be done, but if you have any pics of this, I'd love to see them.

Nice body work on that FC. To do something like that, especially on a black car, takes some skill..
I personally love the look of 80s sports cars, and thats exactly what the Rx-7 is. I even like the black mouldings better than the body matched S5 ones.
