If it were me, id just save and get a prof. rebuilt engine w/warranty. Will save you alot of headaches. If you want your car to be bullet proof....you are probably looking at around 2500+ for a good dependable low mile high compression engine w/warranty depending on if you want it installed. But for a cheap (who knows what will happen) engine you could probably spend a good 300.

mine had 122k on it and i sold it with the car running PERFECTLY for $350 it just depends on the seller. now that i look back it was kind of stupid but ya know **** happens

wows. awesome. i dont think san antonio has that big of a rotary fanclub (for lack of better words).
or maybe i havent found them yet. i've been reading up for a while and im going to attempt to rebuild the engine.
i found this
http://rotaryaviation.com/overhaul_kits.htm
the basic kit for rebuilds has everything except 4 parts that the master one has.
the side seals, corner seals, oil pump chain, and the rotor oil seal set.
althought it does come with a lot of stuff. 468+15 shipping sounds good.
i havent had time to get a good look into my fc yet and check it out completely, or get the engine out yet but i've heard that some seals can be recycled. if the seal isnt badly damaged or worn, can it be reused? i know new seals are what i should get but im just still wondering about that.
then they have install gakets at that site too. 48 + 10 shipped.
thoughts anyone?

really, stock engine that runs go about 150-400, any site that I can see that they sell n/a engine. I'm actually fine with n/a but turbo will be good, unfortunately, I can't find any site that will sell n/a engine. I also assume is used too.
